Dr. Mercer Butts

Dr. Mercer Butts was born and raised Atlanta, GA. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Animal Sciences from North Carolina A&T State University (Aggie Pride!) before obtaining his Masters Degree in Animal Nutrition and DVM at Colorado State University. He received additional veterinary training in nutrition from the University of Nicosia in Cyprus and oncology at The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Medicine in Edinburgh, Scotland. His medical interests include nutrition and oncology. Mercer is an Eagle Scout who is an avid outdoorsman and can be found cheering on his favorite sports teams, trying all the best new BBQ spots, and hiking with his dogs Duke and Butter.
