We appreciate the trust you place in us to take care of your pets. Our priority is to support happy, healthy pets every single day, while also protecting the health and safety of our staff, clients, and community.

We want to reassure you that we plan to remain open for business. We know how important it is for you to be able to access healthcare for your pets when you need it. 
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to unfold, we have taken the following precautionary measures to keep our clients and staff as safe as possible and comply with the Virginia and Maryland Stay At Home Order:                                 

We will continue to comply with “social distancing” recommendations, and only hospital personnel will be allowed inside the hospital. We will continue to provide necessary and emergency services for our patients.
We would like to limit appointments to emergencies and necessary procedures.

We ask that when you arrive for your appointment,  call us from the parking lot at 540-775-6800. A technician will meet you in the parking area and bring your pet into the hospital. We ask that all dogs are on a leash and all cats are in a carrier. If you do not have a leash or carrier with you, please let a staff member know so that we can bring one to your vehicle. At that time the doctor will perform the examination inside our hospital and will call you to discuss their findings. Any treatments that you and the doctor agree upon will be completed. Your pet will be returned to you with a copy of the invoice. A receptionist will complete the checkout process. Any medications, foods or preventatives will then be brought out to you.

If your pet needs food, medication, or preventatives, please order before you run out. When you have been notified your items are available and you are ready to pick them up, you may call us from the parking lot and we will bring them to your car. We are also happy to ship medications and preventatives to you without any additional shipping charge.

IF YOU ARE ILL OR HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO SOMEONE WHO IS, PLEASE LET US KNOW SO WE CAN MAKE PLANS TO ACCOMMODATE YOU AND YOUR PET SAFELY.     

We understand that this is a confusing, anxiety-filled time in our history. Please be assured that we will continue to provide your pet with a safe and comfortable visit. Thank you for your continued trust, support and understanding during these trying times.
